No interpretation problems on my part. A lowered Ford pickup might handle better than a 70's Trans Am, but the majority of modern sports cars will easily handle better than even a lowered Ford. I just used the WRX as an example. I could have just as easily said the Mustang GT, the Mini Cooper S, the Dodge Neon Sport thing, etc.

You're right. My modified truck with 12.5 inch wide high performance tires, low profile at that, coupled with my bilstein performance shocks, and very low center of gravity, coupled with the very wide and stable truck with a strong frame and shocks optimally located for handling probably handles like crap.

I must be dillusional to think that just about any *stock* vehicle can't outperform my "Ford" in regards to handling. I guess when I take just shy of 90 degree turns at 45-60 MPH without hardly a chirp of the tires I am dillusional then too.

*And again, apparently you don't understand what I am implying, as you think if you can name a few cars that are known to handle well that makes my statement false; which it doesn't.

My basis for comparison includes my GFs 2005 RSX, which I can EASILY outperform in terms of handling and power, I would also say it outperforms the previous generation Mustang GT NP, although I have not driven the new ones, but I do not think I would outperform them by any means as they are amazing vehicles. Camaros not even close, Firebirds, etc, no way, new or old, Eclipse not even close, and it even outperforms my ne w Focus. I realize my Focus isn't a "sports car," but they are known for their fantastic handling, especially the SVT model which outperforms many $60k+ sports cars in auto-x tests and I have driven several SVT Foci, although I would say they would certainly outperform my truck. The only difference between the SVt and the regular Focus is a few hundred bucks worth of shocks, springs, and a rear sway bar. That's it.

anyway, I know you have it all figured out since you had a WRX so there is just no way an F150 could even come close...but then again, you have NEVER ridden in my truck, so how can you honestly say that you have an idea how it handles? You can't...

Had I not driven my own truck, I wouldn't believe my claims either, but I have and I know what it can do. Ask anyone that has ridden in my truck and they will enthusiastically tell you that it was logic-defying how well it performs for such a large truck.

But again, I have about $3,500-4,000 in the suspension department, so that would be expected.
