Hey, how'd you go about painting your mirrors?
Are they replacements?

Cole,
thanks, they're 265/35/22's Hankook Ventus S/T. I love them, they stick to the road. at first i couldn't understand how such a small tire would work for me, but its unreal how much of a better ride these tires are than my stocks

Ieeee,

I just scuffed them with 400 wet, taped off the glass (all this is off the truck, of course) layed down a couple coats of an adhesion promotor and then just sprayed my base and clear coats. I'm a little dissapointed with the texture peaking through though, so i may swap them for the street scene mirrors.

you can sand down the texture completely, but i didn't have enough time, and at that point, not enough patience.

Why not color sand then respray it with clear? Won't that get rid of the texture?

2000 grit sandpaper a block and water. Wet sand it to remove surface imperfections and orange peel texture. Once it's smooth or as smooth as you want it, the buff it, clean it and clear coat again or just buff and wax it. I'm sure there are some body guys on here that can explain in more detail but that's the basics of it. Be sure not to go through the color or you'll have to start over. How many coats did you put on it?

When I back my Ranger out of the driveway, I like to look at ol' blue sitting in his garage stall and think about how much better the view will be when his kid sister Mustang GT is parked next to him in another year or so!

How I couldn't love my little monster...

When I arrive at any place I have to hold myself some times from turning back to admire my truck because there are people around and I don't like to show my love in public :P

You know, I normally don't like single cabs OR flaresides, but I DO like your truck. Couldn't have done a better job with it myself...good work!
