I really hope he didnt have to stab it since it would be long overdue for an oil change on a 2005 model year.

Give some details please.

Get yourself a "large" pair of channel lock pliars and place them on the seam where the oil filter is put together and take it off....Seriously, not flaming or poking fun at anyone but I have never seen so many having such a problem changing oil filters...Do yourselves a favor and warm the engine up before attempting to remove the filter next time..

I bent the screwdriver, plus the engine was warm from driving home.

Ah yes, the first oil change. Should have searched the board first. Would have let the dealer do the first change then.

They are easy after the first.

Some of us don't drive our own trucks that much... (hint, company van saves my F150) 05 with 3800 miles... and yes its had 2 oil changes, both by the dealer...
The first took them 45 minites to get the filter off AT THE DEALER.....

Until they put the wrong oil, not enough oil, no oil, or leave the drain plug loose.

I'll bet the reason it won't come off is it's still pissed at you for putting those mirrors on the truck.
