Now thats funny... Poor guy, seem every thread he is on someone gives him sh*% about those mirrors. It's all in good fun[/QUOTE]
I kinda like the mirrors.. I just did my 1st o/c and what a bitch! It was on real tight, but I was able to get it off(busted a few knuckles)! As for the dealer doing oil changes, thats ok. I don't trust those guys to look at my truck, everytime I have something fixed at the dealer something else seems to go out shortly after.
Plus now I have the Fumoto and it's so easy to change!

Then you can use a little screwdriver and a hammer, get ahold of the the little holes in the mounting plate, and gradually tap it off in a counterclockwise direction.

lol I ganked my bros pimped out maxima..... those things are the ****!!!!
i feel for you man, it should be a crime
the overtightening itself isn't a probem, that's what wrenches are for...the tight location itself isn't a problem, that's cured by hand-tightening
put them both together, and an overtightened filter with very little room for a wrench handle and hand to turn it--that's the problem
at least you won't have to go through it twice...so long as you do all your changes
edit: that wrench posted above--does it accept a nut driver? something that i could put a long ratchet extension to from below probably would have spared me the hassle! ha i had 2 kinds of wrenches and was wishing i had something like i described
