Passenger seat loose

I have been having some trouble with my passenger seat back being loose and rattling. The dealer is on their fouth attempt to fix this problem. Just wondering if anyone else have or had this problem. Dealer is trying to tell me that all f150's passenger side are looser than the driver side. Mine had got 2 1/2 - 3 inches of play... a little excessive in my opinion.

Do you have the captains chairs, if so mine is a little loose too. Also watch out for the third brake light. mIne decided to start leaking like a waterfall into my truck today. Luckily it was warranteed.(i also work at a ford dealer) Dont know if that helps or not.

same here.. i dont think the seat is "loose" though. I think its just the design on the seat.. Without any weight in it the seatback moves alot.

However if you have someone sitting in the seat i dont think it moves anymore than the drivers seat does.. Although i could be wrong ... Can someone check this out with a person sitting in the seat?

An update for any who are interested. The dealer fixed the seat. Some play i can understand but mine was extreme. It was also the passenger seat, which hardly gets used....therefore it definatly wasn't wear and tear. Apparently there is some sort of grommet that was rounded out, it has something to do with the lever that reclines the seat. Only took them five times to figure it out. Now the seat back is rock solid. Oh i have captains chairs for those wondering.
