Question Leveling Kit

I saw a picture the professor put on a post of his F150, I was wondering if he installed a leveling kit or not. I have an '05 F150 and it seems to be really low in the front end. Any Ideas?????

leveling kit will raise ur front end either 2 or 2.5" depending the leveling kit u buy, most people go for daystar or auto spring and there realitivley easy to install and will raise ur front end to match the back giving u a levelled truck also it will alow u to fit 33" tires

Leveling Kit

Thanks for the input. I looked at several kits and I don't wont to go all the way to a 33" tire, will the raised up front look right with a 31 or 32" tire under it??? or will it be to much space in between

Thanks for the input. I've looked at several different kits but i don't want to go all the way to a 33" tire. Will it look right with 31 or 32" on it or will it be to much space in between???? I don't want it to look out of wack.

Is your truck 2WD or 4WD? On a 4WD truck you can clear a 33" tire with no leveling kit at all, and I'd be willing to be that you could probably make it happen on a 2WD too.
But if you only want a 31" or 32" tire you don't need a leveling kit and it would probably be too much space with one, no matter what drive your truck is.

Too much space. The factory tire is 31". Actually if you use the stock wheels you can fit a 35" in there. Here is a pic of mine with 33's on it. I think it turned out perfect. Almost makes it too tall for my fiancee to get in. I have the 2" Autospring. I wouldnt recommend the Daystar because you need a coil compressor to get it in. Autospring installs in .5 hours per side.

You can look in my gallery to see what the 2.5" autospring will look like with stock tires (31"). I didn't think it looked bad and a lot of people on here have leveling kits with stock tires.

If it's a 4x4 don't bother with a leveling kit unless you want to go bigger than 33"s, because they will fit just fine without one.
