Factory Magellan GPS

Hey everyone. The dealer was telling me that he will be getting in a new magellan gps system that has a factory housing that attaches to the dash right above the radio. Does anyone have any pics or have you heard of such an item. I think it would be interesting to have.

housing

I would assume its a kit that fits your dash above the radio, with a preinstalled GPS in it. He said it was kinda dome shaped and locks into the dash board

Well good luck getting it.

I've emailed them and filled out their forms because they have rail accessories and I've never gotten one response.

I think they have a casing that matches the other interiors but regardless you can't get any information from them.

I got this unit about a week and a half ago. Real simple to install only took me about 15mins. It gets power from the radio and can even power on with the key. It has a internal speaker and is very easy to use. I don't have picture and the wife has the truck. But the picture posted by vader is what it looks like. There is no carbin fiber on this thing. It looks good in my Lariat that has the wood trim dash. You can get these for under 1000 on ebay you just have to shop, rocknrollxm is who I got mine from. I paid $975. He was asking 1299. obo.

If you are looking for an oem style look then buy it. I'm sure you'll be happy as I am.

Well first off, is your camera digital? After you get it up on the computer go to photogalliries and sign up(i think you have to do that) then create a galliery and browse for the picture file on your computer, once you have that in the gallery go to the picture in your gallery and click the forum code thing, a box will pop up with two differnt codes, use the full size pic code. Copy and paste that code into your comment or post

I don't believe that this is a FoMoCo item... it's aftermarket.

In fact, Ford is utilizing a double-din nav system in several other FoMoCo vehicles... unfortunately though, not the F150.
