need advice on going bigger

okay situation, right now i have 10 inches of lift and 38 inch tires, i either want 39.5" sts or if they will fit 41x14.50x20 iroks. I'm going to add a 2.5" spacer and a 5" fabtech block, this will give me 12.5" of lift total front and back [i have a add a leaf for the back], now will 41" tires fit with 12.5"'s of lift ?

also will 12.5" of lift and 38's look stupid ? too big of a gap

I don't think the 41s will fit, but the 40s would.

Keep in mind a 12" FTS + 3" Body skies 41" Iroks. I think 41x14.5 looks scrawny, your current width looks great.

wats the alternative ? the only 40 inch tire that has got the width i like is the toyo's but after talking to the old man $580 a tire just doesn't sound appealing, i might just lift it and keep the 38's and see how that looks

I think you'll be fine with your current tire setup, post your pics and we'll photoshop a small 3" lift (2.5 roughly). Make sure you get one in there with a tape measure next to your truck if you want it to be accurate (hold the tape measure out to 5ft and stand it against the truck for best results).

sounds good josiah, i hope this helps me decide, if it looks good i'll order the 2 1/2 " spacer and 5" block tomorow, i just want this truck to sit as high as possible, i love the feeling of looking down at every body else

I think you should definitly go with the spacer and 5" block because I noticed those 38s do look a little jammed in. and a spacer and block are pretty cheap I assume. If it looks too weird (I doubt it will) thany you can take them off and sell them to me for cheap jk. but that photoshop would help. you also have pretty wide tires on there now and I think it will look better if it was a little higher.

Also I would be careful about those steering angles up front...you have a body lift and an spacer up front with just the stock fabtech? That might get a little scary

The 5" block would be scary to me.

I hope you get some nice axle wrap along with that 5" block... Since you seem to have a money tree in your backyard, I would get new leaf springs instead.

Man, you mean 10" isn't enough? So your going to stack spacers and blocks on top of that? That sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. I think I would look at a taller kit that is actually made to go that high rather than space out the existing kit. If you have money to burn, do it right.

How much lift do you want out of the rear minus the 3" body?

I think you need to look into some Deaver or Atlas custom made leaf springs!!
