40" Tires
40" Tires Help?
i was just curious and started looking around and couldnt find 40" tires anywhere and was wondering where i could find them? i cant find em anywhere. the only tires in 40" i think there are really though are the toyo's....and iroks.
also my friend just totalled his 03' f-150 with 35's and got a chevy with 11 inches of lift and 39's and he wants to go 40's so im trying to help him

um i think hes has 16 inch rims....but me personally am looking for 18 inch rims.

Pro Comp make the X-Terrains in 40" for both 16 and 18 inch wheels.
40/13.50/16 = PN#36040

i do but they are 38's......im jsut looking at pricing it out to see what it would come to for 40's. if i can get a rize kit for $2200 have it installed for $3000...for $1400 for gears and install. then $1000 tops for body lift/gap guards and install. sell my tires for $900 get 40" tires for $1900. mounting and balancing $150.
Grand Total= TOPS $7500.

well how is he running 40's on just a 6 inch fabtech....3 inch body...and add a leaf? and some of us here are running same combo and only 37's?

yeah.....can anyone think of any problems of me possibly doing a 3 inch body lift on top of my rize with 40's for the future??
this guy at Wild ******* (off road store) says runing 38's and higher is a bad idea on these trucks cause its only a half ton axle.....i call BS on him but what do yall say?

I also think if you can find the toyos they will be really expensive. When I was looking around for them I was debating the 35s and 37s and the 37s were around $400-$500 each for the toyos. I am sure the 40s will be at least $500.
