Who else has broke the $100.00 mark for fueling thier trucks??

Well last night I filled my truck up with gas and the total was $106.93. So I desided to find out who else has broken this mark as well. I was really pissed about this until I talked with some people today that said they spent $1400.00 to fill their boat last weekend (38' Carver with twin 454's).

Wow!!! I don't think I will ever hit that much. Luckily gas in Utah is pretty cheap (did I just say that?). It's $2.75 a gallon, but it's still too much for me to be able to enjoy driving my truck (I wish it was $1.25/gallon again). I am getting my wifes old '97 contour running this weekend so I can have something more affordable to drive. My job requires me to do alot of driving & driving the contour will save me about $300/month in gas, not to mention it keeps the miles on my truck low.

I spent 85 bucks to fill up over in the mountains (Glenwood Springs) this past holiday weekend. I ran it way down close to E and filled her up @ 3.21/gal. Gas is pretty high in the "high country".

I spent $154.00 to fill mine. Big tank and $1.189/ litre don't help that though. That's $4.50/U.S. gallon And $5.35/CDN gallon

It will have to be over 4 bucks a gallon first. I can't fit over 23.5 gallons with distance to empty under 10.

Tonight is my second fill up under $100. I usually spend $105-$110, 33 gallons once a week. And lifted my gas mileage is better than stock

It's probably only a $50 cap on a debit card. Credit cards tend to be a little higher cap.

i have hit $101 and $102 before. But usally it is around $90.

Around here it varies from station to station but they seem to have caps at $75 for credit cards. It use to be $50, then they raised it to $60 then to $75.

I just wish they would make it like $100 or somthing.. It sucks having to stick your card into the machine twice..

dang im surprised not too many people have hit over 100. I hit it almost every time. The pump usually shuts off at $100. Some even shut off at $75. I have a 37 gallon tank and usually always let it run dry ( I kno it isnt a good thing to do). Price around here is an average of $3.15.
But yea boats are crazy with these gas prices. Many of them have over 100 gallon tanks. Some are a lot bigger. I dont even want to think about how long that would take to fill up. I could just start filling up go have lunch and it still probably wouldnt be done.

At least your gas lasts a while. Two weeks ago I took a trip down to Falcon International Reservoir for some bass fishing; Truck was on "E" when I pulled out on Fri afternoon, filled up, got down there and put 1/2 tank (44 gal tank) in the boat, more in my truck and filled up on Sun (on the way back). As I was pulling into town the low fuel warning had been screaming at me for some time.

Spent a total of $250 in gas in about 2 1/2 days; I still had to fill up the truck the next day and I will have to put gas in the boat the next time I take her out.
