Rear Cab Leak

I know there were problems in the past with leaky cabs. Is this still a problem or am I the only victim. My 06 SCrew has the power sliding rear window. After a good South Florida rain, when I pull down the arm rest in the rear seat it is indeed wet.

Thanks,

-Marc

Most likely the third brake light area -- the simple solution is a bead of silicone around the inside of the foam seal on the third brake light. The engineer in charge of this brake light system should have to sit 30 minutes with each customer who has had a leaky one -- he'd need 'several' days time to accomplish this task.

Cool

I have the same problem in a 2004 SC with no slider. I suspect the rear brake light, but wondered if it might be the sunroof. The water does appear to be concentrated near the brake light area. Are ther more with the same/similar problem? I'll try the silicone, but I would like more confirmation before I go and glob up my brake light assy.

Mine is leaking too . Mine seems to be leaking closer to the passenger side and since its still under warranty I am going to let them fix it.

I'm doin the same!

I think I have an A/C issue too. I know it's hot here, and black on black isn't the smartest vehicle to have (but it looks good) It seems that when I stop and idle the a/c stops blowing cool for a bit, and a bit too long for my liking. It happens when it's not 120* and 300% humidity also.

I had the same problem, took to dealer and found out it was OVER charged, now it works good.

my 04 screw has a leak in the 3'rd brake light....but only if I'm not careful with the hose while washing....1'st time it happened thought I'd left the window carcked a bit...but nope...upon further investigation kids squirting hose at verious(sp?) angles ...it seems to leak only when the hose is squirted directly up at the light from the bed....needs fixin I know...just haven't gotten there yet...

Mine leaked on me today too...

Got home and pulled into parking spot. It was POURING down so hard, I decided to just sit in the truck untill it slowed down. Started dripping.. I backed into my parking spot (the parking lot is angled) so the rear of the truck was higher than the front and it seemed to stop the leak.

Guess I'll just let the dealer fix it, if they will. Tried already to get them to replace the plugs under warrenty.. no deal... they want $336 to replace all of them.
