gig 'em
When I was 16 I was on the way home from working at a gas station. An older model chevy was in the number 2 lane and blocking traffic.
I pulled in behind and saw that the front of the drive shaft was buried in the asphalt. The rear was still attached to the rear end.
When the cops got there I told them I could disconnect the u joints and we could back it out.
After getting the shaft disconnected, we pushed the car backwards until it cleared the shaft and we were able to get the car to the side of the road. The shaft was sticking out at an angle from the pavement. A tow truck hooked up to it and pulled it out of the pavement.
I could see how a taller vehicle could get flipped if the shaft was shorter and the vehicle higher.
