Damn, you've had that truck for all of a month and already its gettin' the Rize! Sweet looking. I hope it drives as good as factory. Cant wait to see the new wheels on it because the stockers on it look terrible.

Cant wait to see the final product and get your opinion on the setup..

Thanks you! The man jumps my case for pointing out something that the shop is doing wrong when he should be jumping that shop's case, and demanding new brake hoses for his own safety! I just don't get people on this board sometimes. It doesn't pay to be helpful I guess.

I was just saying that it seems people are always trying to find the smallest problems to point out. He was working on this area when I had him move to take the picture and maybe he left it hanging. Either way I am not going to demand new brake hoses. It is not going to hurt them hanging like that for a little while. And yes I have put on a lift before (not that I would want to do it again) and this should be no problem. This is a great operation they have going, I am happy with it, and that is all that matters. Oh well I am pretty hammered right now so WTF!

That's no small problem. In fact, it's practically the ABCs and 123s of brake/suspension work to tie up a caliper rather than let it dangle from a hose. That's unwise, unprofessional, and wrecklessly cavalier. Again, it's your safety, not mine (unless I happen to be in the car you hit if a hose blows). I don't go looking for minor problems to criticise, but this is a glaring NO NO. If you can live with it, then that's great. Me personally, I wouldn't.

BTW, the truck's looking good. I saw the pics in the other thread. It's going to look really great with the wheels/tires.

Maybe they are replacing the lines anyways. If I was spending that much on a lift, I would want some new longers SS brakelines. I would think that any quality lift would include these or I would be upgrading to these since you will be stopping a lot bigger tires now.

Its only 6 or 8 inches. The fact of the matter is the installer was wrong and got caught. To bad the owner is afraid to say anything about it.

Just 6-8 until he goes offroading and the wheel goes to full droop and his brake line is stretched to the limits and then snap.

Maybe Cannon's glass is half full...nothing wrong with "Wanting and Hoping" your truck is going to be fine and that the guys you just trusted to install your setup are doing the right thing...i mean if something happens he has all the evidence he needs in the picture...And Nates06SCab, i totally agree with you on the vulnerability to the brake line, very important point, and i think maybe your point just came off differently, thats the bad thing about computers...I know that i definately appreciate the help from all of you board members and i have learned a ton from this website...Anyway, Good luck with everything Cannon, and send us the updated pics when they get the wheels and tires installed...
