How's it feel to have the tables turned on you pal?
Having a 2wd or 4wd doesn't matter to me. I don't see the point in having a 4wd when I drive on PAVEMENT bout 12 miles each way. I have family farm land and my truck isn't use for anything on the load just to get me around when I have to run errands. I love my 2wd and the super cheap price I got it for on the A plan.

how much did you get it for....and 4wd is very nice for your 8.5 inches of lift...is only like a 6 inch kit on our 4wd trucks

and its always nice to have when its winter and its icey, snowing you know....its the fact of knowing you got somehting that will help you.

i think its funny how you think your so clever in all your so called "insults" on peoples trucks and posts. and its funnyer cause your trying to make fun of people while typing on a forum which is pathetic.

I also did just a 2 inch AS with a rear Pro Comp AAL. I like the results. I have seen this comparison of lift vs. leveling kit terminology for years and years, but the fact is that both do the same basic job. In fact, a lift kit does not gain you any ground clearance (drop brackets) until you go up in tire size. A leveling kit does gain ground clearance in the front without increasing tire size. To each his own, but I could not stomach putting thousands into the truck to gain a little bit of elevation. The spacers and add-a-leafs are a more wallet friendly way to go with a great result. If I wear a little more on ball joints, then I will replace them twice as many times and still come out ahead on cash.

Later on, I'd like to put some 20's or 22's on there. But for now, I like the look I got. I love the FX4 tires and especially the rims and center cover.

But I like this look that Nebraska has.....

Stragum,

Thanks for the compliment!!! It means alot!! Yours look great also. I got the same comments about " what lift??" when I posted pics of mine. I had a budget I had to stick to, but couldn't be happier with the results.

Looks great. I'm going to word it this way just for the Haters: I'm lifting my 4x2 this weekend. I've got it cemented that my 2.5" AS is going in this Saturday. My friend that's helping me (webmaster of my Chevy S-10 club) hates Fords, so I don't need any flack from you guys too.
