So I traded in my 2004 4x2 lariat for a 2006 FX4. WOW! It seems soo much nicer for some reason. 4x4 engages and disengages with ease. Very much happy with the black leather interior over the 04 REALLY light tan leather.
Sun roof on this truck is great too, really enjoy that feature.

Congrats, I wish I could have got the moonroof in mine. Hardly any of the trucks on the lots around here have them.

ended up going with vista at pretty much invoice price.

Didnt go with lift as vista only does 2.5 in lift and galpin wanted like 9k for their lift and body stuff.
Hmfic that 3inch does look super nice!! Maybe just get that over a 6in fabtech. Well see...

I'll do it a little down the road. I was thinking first was going to be kenwood 6019 but the 6 in dash disc mp3 audiophile and sirius already built it might put a stop to that for a while. It sounds different then my 04 lariat audio but still very nice.

I guess I'll get the tint then exhaust done. The fx4 engine even sounds quieter then the 04 lariat, wierd I guess. And the brakes are much much better. So far loving the new truck!!

Gotta get real pics so I can change the sig, or maybe just change resolution with camera phone and take picture again.

I noticed the same thing Joe, the brakes on my FX4 are 10 times better than on my '05

 

If you don't mind sharing, how much did you get for the Lariat?

 

only 18k, not good at all in my mind. But with 49k miles, I just said oh well. (lariat 4x2 all option except moonroof)

Both galpin and vista start off at below 17k for it, I said no way.
