Door pillar covers

Anyone know if there are paintable door pillar covers out there? I've seen plenty of places that carry chrome and/or carbon fiber ones, but have yet to find any that are either pre-painted or primed. Here's a link to some stainless ones for those that don't know what I'm talking about: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FORD-...QQcmdZViewItem

I *think* some of the early 04's came with paintable pillar covers. I also seem to remember RockPick wanting and/or buying some at one point. I was following that thread, but it's been a year or so.

Well, search and ye shall receive, as they say.

Here's a thread with part numbers for the painted pillars. Here's HotLap's gallery with the pillar photos (before & after).

Finished product really does look great. Might have to try this myself.

Yep... that's what inspired me to give it a go... although, I haven't done it yet.
