Can you update the edge before it goes into the truck for the first time? or does it have to have the trucks default downloaded first?
Just make sure you read the instructions. It really does answer alot of questions that may come up.

Got the edge put in and programmed at level 1 right now. Didn't think about the fact that once he was asleep i can't actually try it out till morning. LMAO
Another question. I'm putting in a K&N FIPK in the next week. What will I need to do to the Evo to take advantage of it? And do I still need to unplug the battery to reset the computer like thier instructions say?
Oh, and Expy03: I'm building on the Outfitter edition thing by adding camo accents. Got the tail light covers, hood deflector, side deflectors, and rocker panel covers in camo in the mail today. going ont he truck tomorrow. I'll throw some pictures up as soon as it's done and cleaned up.
