I have a 04 F150 SuperCab w/ the 5.4 V8. My first question is about Step Bars. I am looking at getting a pair of Westins or either a pair from Ford. Would one of these be better that the other. My second question is that I am mainly using my truck to pull my boat aprox. 3,000lb. When I am pulling it should I leave the OverDrive off or is it o.k. to leave on. Thanks for any advise you can give.

 

that small of a boat, I would assume that you can leave the O/D on. I'm sure that v8 can pull that around without a problem.

as far as the step bars, IMO they are all pretty similiar. just look around to see what style you like and then shop around to get the best price.
