Black LT handles W/tailgate

OK OK OK...I know everyone on here is gonna tell me this topic has been beaten to death. I tried searching for this and I cant seem to find anything. I wanna replace my front doors (with the keypad) and my tailgate. Where do I buy them? And how hard are they really to put on? Thats one of the biggest reasons I havent put them on yet is the fact that there is like 20 steps to get the handles off. Thanks for bearing with me on this, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Taking the handles off is not a problem at all. The trouble I had was putting the new ones (actually the drivers side) back on. The key lock was the PIA and even with that it only took about an hour, and as far as I know I was the very first one to do the mod so I was in unchartered territory with no guides to go by. I could probably do it now in 20min. The other 3 doors and tailgate took less than 45min combined. I would say if you can do any mechanic work at all you wont have a problem. So don't let the install worry you....its well worth the effort.

As for buying them...I got mine from the local Lincoln dealer for $240 out the door...all 4 doors and the tailgate.

The handles look great on black:

Yes the drivers dooor is a PITA and my arms were a bit scratched up from twisting and turning up in there. I saved this door for last. Tailgate first(to easy),drivers door(not to bad). Just had to take a time out since I was getting a case of the *** on the drivers side but it was well worth it.
Just use plenty of tape around the buckets so you dont scratch your paint.

Okay I found the part numbers for the handles.. you'll just have to figure the color code for your truck out and replace the ?? with them (look at the old thread from asinatra I think that one has the color codes)

6L3Z-1522405-?? (LF)
6L3Z-1522404-?? (RF)
6L3Z-1626605-?? (LR)
6L3Z-1626604-?? (RR)
6L3Z-9943400-??(tailgate)

Those fuggers change their part numbers all the time, I'd email them just to make sure before you make the purchase, they won't even come up if they're the wrong part #. They will email you promptly with all the part numbers and price.

Mike, you never answered my question in that other thread.

Can your silver ones be used with a keypad or not? If they can, I'm interested. I read something about how you can punch out some of the plastic or something? Fill me in here....

No they cannot be used with the keypad that mounts inside the handle.

Thank roush. As far as the door locks go are they the same? You just switch them out from your old handles to the LT handles?
