I have had Bassani, Borla and Magnaflow in direct comparison, not on my truck but on my cobra. All 3 make good quality products.
Do you (or anyone else that has these in-front-of-the-rear-tire exhaust) have any kind of build up or dis-coloration with an exhaust like this? Just curious...

KC-10 FE out...

nope, same amount of michigan dirt and Detroit grime on both sides

Anyone remember the Camaro/Firebird system that Banks made back in the 80's when Banks set the land speed record with a Firebird? It's the exact same system that Borla copied when Alex Borla opened his own company after he left Banks Power. True, Borla has done a lot of good things in the aftermarket industry since then but if you look at the mufflers used on the Banks and Borla system they are EXTREMELY similar with a few subtle differences, like the name stamped into the side of the muffler. Just FYI...

almost all these mufflers with the exception of flowmasters are all made the same way. they are straight through mufflers with sound obsorbing material inside packed around the through pipe. nothing original that makes one better then the other except the material they are made out of.
