I think 1KK was just trying to make sure you understand that the ESP runs concurrently with your original warranty and not consecutively.

I just took a look for my truck and the price differnce between 4 years and 7 years and 100000 was over $1000.

"The Ford ESP plan terms you select start from the day the vehicle was purchased brand new, with zero miles, whether you are the original owner or not.

For example, a 5 year/60,000 mile Ford ESP plan begins on the day the vehicle was purchased brand new and will last for 5 years after that date, or until the vehicle's odometer reads 60,000 miles, whichever comes first.

The plan terms DO NOT begin after your manufacturer warranty expires. The Ford ESP terms begin on the day the vehicle was purchased brand new with zero miles by the original owner, whether it was you or not."
This is why I went with 6yr / 100K plan. My Truck is 2 yrs old with 34000 miles on it at 17 K a year give or take I should hit 100K miles right at 6 years. So for me it made no sense to get any less years or any more years it was the 100K that I needed.

Yeah that is what i meant as i was a little confused at first myself.

To bad they dont sell to Canadians though.

I will still try to phone around to a bunch of dealers and see who will give me the best price, allthough i am sure my dealer will give me the best price the first time.
