Kill & New Tundra

The other day I was approaching a stop sign and there was a Chevy Silverado already stopped. He looked at me and off we were, not even close let him in the d u s t!!!! Also, I had a security detail at a Boston area Toyota convention and they hired us to watch the new 07 Tundra overnight. I guess they think it is good or something. Anyways, I took a few photos of it with my palm they are in my signature. Finally, overall not a bad truck they took a few ideas from Ford that is for sure.

The Tundra will be a major player in the full sized pickup market over the next few years...

Quality-wise, it is possibly the best truck on the planet. The complaints have always been related to size, towing capacity, and interior volume.

Yeah, it's ugly... but some people don't care.

I think it was the very first Toyota where instead of creating a new car they took the chasis of a Dodge, body from a Chevy and the driveline from a Ford and put it all together and called it their own (or some combination there of). This reminds me of that. The front end looks like a stretched Dodge, the cab from a Ford, you get the idea.

Geesh, and these are the guys kicking our behinds. I know the quality is wonderful, I do appreciate Toyota's QC and longevity, but I still think it is pretty dang ugly.

I don't feel sorry for any Toyota drivers out there. Loyal or not. Buy an American truck (at least American company). Those Tundras are friggin rip offs. They are ugly and anybody who buys one deserves the face I give 'em when I drive past 'em.

Over 70% of the manufacturering process on a Nissan Titan occurs within the United States.

Who gives a rats @ss what name in on the vehicle? Both Ford and Chevy have farmed out a good deal of their manufacturing to Canada and Mexico in previous years...

hmmmm, at least it's better looking than the Titan. Doesn't really matter where it's built, it's where the Mother Ship is.

More people focused on the Tundra, but I know what you mean. The tuner section has people that just like to blast everyone. It's gotten to the point where questions aren't answered without having a couple of haters come in and say junk. Really annoying when people are looking for advice or swap stories.

And I still say the new Tundra is U-G-L-Y!
