Hey, thanks for your advice above! I think I'll do as you suggest and start with the rear for now. I've located the 2004-2006 F150 Deaver pack:

http://www.deaverspring.com/DS_FordProducts.htm

I'm not sure if it is safe to assume that the indicated 4" lift is equal to that of a 4" block with the stock springs though. That block has to mess with the height in more ways than one. You figure that the length of the stock springs has not changes, but the compression must (because you'd effectively changing the radius, right?). If I can figure that out, I'll be good to go.

The front is signifcantly more complicated (or so it seems). I'll probably do the Total Chaos A-Arms before I think about shocks. They seem like a great upgrade, but between new shocks (front/rear), Deavers, and A-Arms, you're talking about another $3,000 - $3,500 in parts alone. Almost like a second lift.

Maybe the wife will want a set of Deavers for the upcoming Wedding anniversary?

Question

Okay, there was some mention of a Group Buy on these Fox shox?

How's about we get a thread going in the group buy section with a link inserted in this one? I'd like to see how many people are interested... That would pretty much dictate what kind of a price we can snag them for, right?

So, who's in on this?

I'd talk to RP about discussing a group buy here, just to make sure so this thread doesn't get locked down. But, I might be interested depending on the price.

Agreed. I did a basic search for the Fox 2.0 Pro Series Res. shocks and found a random site selling them for $380 and $385.

We'll have to factor shipping charges as well. What do these puppies weigh? 25-35lbs each maybe?

Nah, the site I found had them for $380 without shipping costs...

I'm confused as to which shock we require. They have a .625 and a .875 diameter for the 14" travel. So, I guess that's 5/8th and 7/8th.
