What causes AS pop.

I was driving to work and took a right handed clover leaf a bit faster than normal this morning. Something in the left front suspension made a popping sound and I think it might be from the 2" AS (1 5/8" spacer) that I have up front. Is there something I should be able to see down there to know what caused the pop so I can fix it? I torqed everything good. You guys have any ideas? It's been aligned and has worked good so far for a month or so.

Check all of your bolts on everything that you loosened. It sounds like a sway bar link is loose, or the mounting bolts on the A.S.

Or your spring hit your ball-joint. Look at your spring and see if you have any marks.

No, it wasn't that, the downward forces were on the spring, taking the UCA away from the spring.

It most likely is your sway bar. I have the same problem sometimes. So I retorque all my bolts and they are fine. If not it could be your bearings in your wheels, I had that happen on my ranger a while back.

Well I got home from work and looked everything over and found everything looked good with exception to the sway bar endlink on the drivers side. It wasn't showing as many threads as the other side so I torqued it back down. This had to be the source of the pop. I did the passanger side and it was more tight than the drivers side. We'll see tomorrow. I am going to do the same routine and see if it pops again.

Thanks guys for the assistance. F150online at its finest!

Update:

Today I hit the same turn after tightening up the swaybar endlink nut yesterday and so far so good.
