Just looking into what some of you guys might think of this idea,

I really want to put SI/DO exhaust on my truck but I am going out of town to work in a few days and wont be able to get it done till late october or november. What I was thinking was going out and removing the stock muffler and tailpipe and cutting the pipe off at the nearest hanger before the muffler and either putting a turndown on it and just running a straight pipe or putting a flow 40 si/do and 2 turndowns hooked on the muffler itself till I can the rest done.

Just wandering what you guys think of this or if it will work.

Why waste the time? Just get it done right when you get back.

 

Basically just want a little noise factor for now, i am going with a 40 si/do when i do get it done so i wont be out anything if it will work.
