I have never had Hankook tires before and kind of wondered about the quality. Just thought it was interesting to see more companies coming out with tires for 18's and 20's.

The hankook tires that came factory on some F-150s are a joke. You can almost turn them inside out because the rubber is that thin and crappy. Most and 'kook that has come through my warehouse has been about the same. That goes for kuhmo and just about any off brand tire. Theres a reason they sell them at discount basement prices.

Doesn't Hankook make good tires? . . not talking about the ones that come factory, of course. Maybe that was Continental? I don't know, its too late.

People keep in mind that the Hankook tires that FORD put on the new F150's are passenger car tires not LT (Light Truck). The are supposed to be soft and pliable to keep the ride smooth. Thus the tire squeeling. Ford went with the cheapest option they could for the trucks that are not 4x4. That said I am running the stock P235/70R17 and I have 47,500 miles on my truck. I can get another 10K out of this set before replacing/upgrading to some BFG's AT.

My truck is a 4x4 and it came stock with those hankooks. It's weird because alot of other F150's around my area have the hankooks too, and almost all of them are 4x4's.

My father has Hankook tires on his dump truck and they are a good tire, or atleast their heavy duty line is. As for the Kumho, I have gotten more miles out of the Kumho M/T's on my 94 than the BFG M/T's and Goodyear MT/R's that I had on there before. Plus they are about $50 cheaper per tire....
