Just got the EDGE, but a little disappointed!
The exhaust is going to change at different times for different trucks -- possibly even when they're using the exact same parts due to production variances. (Yes, some freakishly strong -- and pathetically weak -- trucks make it off the production lines!)
Altho I knew my truck sounded different on Level 2 & 3 I never really paid much attention to where exactly. So this morning I loaded Level 2 to find out more. Mine starts at 2k RPM's and stops around 2,600 RPM's when between 40% & 60% load. At WOT it just has a moderate rumble from ~800 RPM's to 5,200 RPM's. I also think fuel economy may be better, in my situation, with Level 1 -vs- 2. Since Lvl 2 is geared towards low end grunt it seemed to have a much lower IMPG when driving around town in stop & go traffic. When I say much lower I'm talking ~1.2MPG -vs- ~3 when on Level 1. Highway driving appeared to be about the same: 18MPG with AC on under 70 mph & 15.3 when >75 with AC on.
Unless you're running all stock parts, when using an aftermarket tuner you're almost guaranteed to have some sort of drone. All tuners are geared towards one thing -- add power. You don't get power unless the engine is moving more air. The drone is caused by resonance setting up in the muffler. Different sized mufflers are going to do it at different times; equal sized mufflers are going to do it at different times unless they're built exactly the same inside & with the same type & thickness of metal. With the stock muffler I don't ever see anything causing a drone with it. The thing is like 3 feet long & has a circumference of like 24"!!!
When I first got into Mustangs I was all about my car being loud. As I started getting older my plans for it changed. The key ended up being a VERY high quality set of 1 3/4 primary long tube headers & the biggest Magnaflow muffers I could shoehorn under it.

Standard shift MPH 1-2 +1, 2-3 +5, 3-4 +10
Timing advance +1.25
WOT fuel 1.64
The other settings shouldn't affect the drone issue.
Hope that helps. Post any improvements!
I have the drone also and a vibration in the Towing Level and I just posted this problem (In the Towing Section) . I couldn't stand it so I'm in stock all the time unless towing. I don't hear it as much or feel as much vibration when towing but still I can't bear it. I have the Borla Cat Back Exhaust, Airaid Cold Air Intake & Troyer Dual Electric Fans. I guess I should run the truck now to see at what speed and rpm's I am getting these noises and vibrations at exactly.
