It was memorial day weekend, we all were...forgiven. I can tell you from experience it won't slam into reverse, it will cut your engine off and you'll lose your steering, etc. and will show "Low Oil Pressure." That could have been a nightmare, thanks Ford. (in a friends 2wd 05 F-150).

That is exactly why the edge comes out and goes in my garage before I take the truck in tomorrow.

BTW doesnt feel like I lost any power and everything shifts right it just makes a horrible rattling sound when Im on the gas.

Turns out it wasnt the transmission, it was the catalytic converters? I dont understand it, but that is what they said. They also noticed a vacuum leak at the front differential and fixed that. Make me wonder if the 4X4 kicked in and overheated something when pulling that trailer.

Nope it definentally was the cats that they replaced. When I was on the gas it sounded like a hand full of marbles was in my tranny but when I was off the gas it went away. I hope they didnt just fix it hoping it would last the next 4K miles till my warrenty is up.

That is nuts. I can't imagine how that would've sounded. Good thing it got fixed though, hopefully it's smooth sailing from here on.
