SCAB 5.5' bed pics

Hey Guys and Gals, I'm about ready to order an 06' F150 and have it narrowed down to a reg cab or a scab w/ the 5.5ft bed. Problem is, I can't find too many pics of the scab 5.5 and would like to see if anyone here had some. Thanks!

I don't like the short beds. The guy in my neighborhood has one and it just looks weird. Like the front is really long and the back got cut off. If you plan on lifting your truck get the regular bed it looks good that way.

I'll be lifting my truck eventually. I happen to think they look nice, which is exactly why I got one. I saw one the other day with a Rancho 4" and some 33's. Looked sweet! Hey at least my lifted truck will be somewhat functional off-road.

I've seen so many trucks lifted so damn high that just dont make sense. I don't get it. Why do a 14" lift, other than looking sweet?

Case in point that Cheby at Pismo. Your truck is slick Chris, and you can park it in a garage.

I like the looks of the 6.5 much better (hence the reason I own one) but I will admit that the 5.5 would make for a much easier parking experience.

I love my 5.5, turns on a dime and does nicely on rocky trails and climbing thru ditches. I happen to think it looks better than the 6.5s but thats just me...

Another cool thing is you hardly ever see them... I had a guy come up to me the other day when I was eating lunch in my truck and tell me he would pay me $50 to follow him to his house and see if it would fit in his garage because the dealer didnt have one on the lot for him to measure - Infact I guess they told him they do not make a SCAB in the 5.5!

That short bed just looks weird to me. I love parking in my longer bed. It gets those huge stairs when you're at the mall.

The short bed looks odd to me on a scab but looks perfect on the screw.
