New to me 2004 SCab 5.5ft. Just picked it up last week! You guys are a wealth of info about these trucks. Thanks to everyone for all the info provided.

they are caps and from about 10 feet away look great,up close fit is not so great.if you are very picky then they are not for you.also they have little pepper marks from bugs hitting them ,i guess thay are not that durable.

Hell, I know I bought mine used, but I wish I would have known. Atleast the 5.5 foot bed would fit in my garage.........

cool, i also wasnt aware of the 5.5 on scab, makes sense tho, now that they offer the 6.5 on screws.

Any one have the wheel base specs between the 6.5 and 5.5 beds?
just curious how much shorter the wheel base really is, since people say they turn pretty sharply.
