the wheels are definitly fine and you shouldnt have to balance the driveshaft. I have the fabtech and I didnt have to on it. It was "optional" but its not a big deal. Actually I just snapped my front driveshaft

you don't have to balance the front driveshaft
but you do have to pull drive shaft off and pull slip yoke apart and
grind the masterspline out so you can set the yokes in sync. on fabtechs
and kick *** if you didn't do that it could definatly cause failure
running steep enough that it might not articulate smooth.
