Reupholstering 05 F-150, console question

I'm in the process of reupholstering my 2005 F-150 with leather. So far it is going well, but I'm about to work on the center console and I don't see how it comes apart.

Anyone know how to take apart the console? It's the 40/20/40 split seat console, not the full length console. I figured out how to get the lid apart. It was just snapped together.

As far as i could see since I ripped mine apart it looks like it can only be put on once? there are some odd plastic hooks that hold it all together that even once i ripped the console apart i could not get the hooks to release.

So you took yours apart and were not able to put it back together? Was it purely plastic hooks? no hidden screws or anything?

Word of advice, read this thread before you do anything! https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...ght=destroying
Be careful and take your time. I used this to do mine. The part with the cup holder is the one that gave me the most trouble because I didn't carefully read the thread before diving into it. I ended up breaking most of the clips that hold it in because it sounded like they were coming out ok. Leason learned, only thing is you can't buy any new peices for that console. So take your time and go easy with it you should be able to get it!
