sometimes I wish it was a little louder but it has an awesome sound to it and it seems to me like its gettin louder the more I drive it. it was pretty easy to install, took me and a friend about 3 hours in my garage (never done anything similar before).

Looks like you went with the rolled tips. Do you know if you can get the resonated (insulated) tips? If so do you know how much extra it is?

Thanks, and nice truck....ENJOY

Very nice ya it will get louder as you add more mileage to your exhaust and it gets broken in....mine got ALOT louder once it was broken in properly

it's just hooked up temporarily right now but I can tell you how I ran the cables and where everything is mounted though. I ran the coax cable down the left side underneath the truck and up through the port under the carpet by the gas pedal. the coax cable turned out to be about 2' too short so I ordered an 18' replacement. I have my cb mounted in the tray up on top of the dash with the wires running back behind the radio. I took the rubber piece out of the tray and drilled a couple holes for the wires. I had to remove the trim around the radio by opening the ash tray about half way and pulling out on the bottom corners so I could reach back there and thread the wires through. you have to pull kind of hard to get the trim off so dont worry about breaking it. I have the pa speaker mounted on the flat metal piece behind the front left fog light but I havent ran the wires for it yet. I also do not have the cb grounded yet. I'm currently just using the cig lighter plug.

I purchased the cb radio (cobra 29 wxnwst), antenna (little wil), and coax cable (part # 305-830) from walcottcb.com and the pa speaker (dynamax w/ 02 tahoe bracket) from galls.com. All together it cost me about $420 but you could get basically the same setup for alot less.

I have been curious about that. How does the exhaust get louder once "broke in"? I have only 1100 miles on my 05 so I dont think my Magnaflows are "broke in". I like the sound already but if I can expect a deeper tone once I rack up more miles then sweeeeet!
Do tell, enquiring minds want to know.
