Its simple, it will break in. It'll be louder just like the stock exhaust, soon as it breaks in.

OK well this still does not tell me anything what causes it to "brake in" and "get louder" in which I asked initially. It expells exhaust gases so is it the carbon build up over time or what? I guess I am wondering if there is a scientific explanation for it so if I tell my friends "dont worry your new exhaust will get louder once it brakes in" I can explain to them how come due to the vast knowledge being shared with me by members of this board.
Peace.

Just wanted to let you know that even though you paid for a 100 watt speaker, a CB PA output only puts out 12 watts. I am running a whelen siren with a 100 watt speaker. Now that you have the big speaker you could always upgrade to the siren if you want it louder. Or run the wire through a small amp. Just an idea. Anyways the truck looks great! Hope you have fun with it.

when i got my roush, it was loud, i was happy with it-really. since christmas, it has become seemingly twice as loud, it screams now, i give it gas, and it responds with a deep grunt-it turns heads left and right. my only explaination is that a) the engine/pcm learns its greater ability to handle more air, and expel it easier with less backpressure than stock, and b) the packing in the muffler gets settled, and the gasses find an optimal passage thru the muffler

yea I plan on adding a siren eventually so I went ahead and got the 100 watt speaker. plus the speakers that were only like 15 watts didnt look like they would hold up too well.

Cool man..I was just making sure. I have seen so many people I know buy huge speakers when they don;t have the watts to power them. Go for the siren as soon as you can. I just got mine wired to work as my horn and it makes driving so much more fun!
