Wow guys. I really posted this thread with the mind set that it'd get a few hits but not anything like this. But, anyways thanks for the compliments! I love how it looks, MUCH better than just a drop-in liner!

Doesn't this belong in the bedliner forum?

I stopped by Line-X of Fort Myers, FL tucked deep in an industrial park today. I had called a couple weeks ago at 3:55 pm, and the message said they closed at 4pm. No big deal, they cut the phones off 5 minutes early. That said I, showed up to their door at 3:30pm this Wednesday afternoon with intentions to make an appointment for Thursday. The sign on the door said "Closed", but the posted hours on the door said they were open to 4:30PM M-F. WTF? So I tried the door thinking maybe they had forgotten to change the sign after lunch. Sure enough it was open. I walked in, and there was nobody in the reception room. I peaked in the waiting room, nobody. I got a cup of water out of their Culligan machine, and started looking over their show room. I saw the board with pricing that said under-the-rail was $499 (plus tax). I gulped down the water as this was substantially higher than rates I've read here at F150online. Nobody came in after a few minutes of waiting. (I even pushed the front door open a couple times to make the door chime from the alarm go off some more). I gave up, and walked back outside. I decided to look around the side of the building. All bay doors were closed. I drove off with my money safely tucked away in my pocket.

Long story short...Had I been the type, I could have stolen everything out of their office to offset the high price they want for Line-X...I may call surrounding towns to see if they can make it worth the drive to get it done at a more professional dealer, or I may just call Rhino.

I was told that those plastic plugs on the wall of the bed were for lining up the bed of the truck during assembly and they have no purpose after the truck is together.

I notice that they changed the placement of the bed bolts. All six of mine are in two straight rows of three. I see none in the middle and two off-line towards the front.

My truck came with line-X I love it no fading only problem was when I put my gun safe in. Damn thing was hell to get out because nothing slides on this stuff. If I had it all to do over I would still get a line-x sprayed.

I had my line-x sprayed in about this time last year. No problems with the liner but I have noticed some dulling over time. When it was first sprayed in it had a shiny luster which is now somewhat duller. Don't get me wrong, it still looks great and has never let me down. I have never ran my truck through an automatic car wash but I do live in Texas where we get 250+ days of sun each year, so some fading is expected.

Thanks Zillia, I will give that a try. Not that my liner needs to be shiny but I sorta liked the way it looked. Once again, Thanks
