Alpine IVA-W200 questions..

Ok I know there is like one post on here about this deck. But before I make the mistake of buying something again without checking with you guys again I want some feedback on this deck. I know they say this deck has the best Ipod feature out there and I wanna make sure. How is the audio outoput on this deck? Please everyone give info on this deck! thanks -Brad

brypink2 is the one to ask- it uses the 06 iPod interface, its extremely fast, and works great- audio quality wise, the alpine excels- the processor this deck uses is rockin-

Well, the only thing I can say at this time is that I love it. I havent had a chance to get all my new speakers and amp hooked up, but it really made my stock speakers come alive...I mean, their still chitty, but they sound 100 times better with this head unit. The only issue that some have talked about is the fact that it does not have a crossover built into it. But for me it doesnt matter becasue my speakers and amps have crossovers, so Im all good. The picture quality is amazing. And the unit looks great in the dash.

But yeh...Brypink2 has had it longer than I have and has played with it a little more, so Im sure he knows a lot more about it than I do. I was impatient when I got it, so I installed it right away....still havent had time to read the book, or like I said, install all my new speakers...I cant wait to get it all done.

I got the PAC-TR7 off ebay. It came with a toggle switch as well. This way I can hit the switch and it wont work, just in case I need to turn it off for some reason. But its very east to install and cost like $22 shipped.

reading the manual it seems that you get an auxilary text display when connected to satellite- so looks like you get all the text-

the PXA-H701 simulates a 5.1 dolby surround sound...in your truck. processes all the sound info from the headunit, and makes it perfect coming out of the speakers
