Billet Aluminum question...

I am looking to possibly get some billet aluminum handles for the '06 that I just picked up last Friday. They're made by AMI Industries, and my cost for them at the dealer is about $65. I would get them, but here's my problem. We have 4+ months every year here in So Cal with temps over 100 degrees. So I guess my question is, does billet aluminum get super hot like a regular metal handle would? Does anyone know, or have any experience with this?

I was thinking about LT handles but everyone has those. Plus I kinda like the look of the black handle bucket plus the billet aluminum handle. I just dont wanna burn the **** out of my hand everytime I drive the truck this summer.

They get hot!!! I saw them in Phoenix, AZ. You could use your shirt to cover your hand when you open the door, lol.

Ya I heard that they amplify the heat of the sun like 10 times.... so that makes em like 1000 degrees Chris. You should definitely buy my LT handles from me instead

Don't wanna anger RP by discussing money here but they are in the classifieds. But I can tell you they are Silver Clearcoat Metallic.

I'd like to have them, but I just don't have the funds right now. If you'll let me "pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today, " I'd be interested.

In reality, I shouldnt be buying anything for my truck, but I did finally get my new decals today and I am contemplating buying the 2.5" AS tonight if the guy can ship it to me in time. We'll see....
