Billet Aluminum question...
Billet Aluminum question...
I am looking to possibly get some billet aluminum handles for the '06 that I just picked up last Friday. They're made by AMI Industries, and my cost for them at the dealer is about $65. I would get them, but here's my problem. We have 4+ months every year here in So Cal with temps over 100 degrees. So I guess my question is, does billet aluminum get super hot like a regular metal handle would? Does anyone know, or have any experience with this?
I was thinking about LT handles but everyone has those. Plus I kinda like the look of the black handle bucket plus the billet aluminum handle. I just dont wanna burn the **** out of my hand everytime I drive the truck this summer.

Don't wanna anger RP by discussing money here but they are in the classifieds. But I can tell you they are Silver Clearcoat Metallic.

In reality, I shouldnt be buying anything for my truck, but I did finally get my new decals today and I am contemplating buying the 2.5" AS tonight if the guy can ship it to me in time. We'll see....
