How long?

How many miles should I wait before I install my Edge into my new truck?

I debated the tuner after I bought my truck. I was going to wait till I broke the truck in then get the tuner, but I never got the tuner.

Get it nice and broke in and go for it! Good luck man!

When I worked at the dealership they were always talking about a 3-5,000 mile break in period. Unsure if that's a Ford thing or just the opinion of one of the tech's.

Put mine in a little after the first oil change, about 3500 miles. No problems, runs great.

Keep the advice coming guys!

I've got about 1,000 miles right now so I was thinking about loading the Edge and just keeping it on the transmission setting for another 1,000 miles until I move up to the 87 octane tune and same up to the 93 octane tune.

I LIVE on the 91 tune . It's like the old Lays potato chip adds, "Bet you can't have just one".

What happened to the other truck? I've been away for a little while, so I must have missed what happened.

I really liked your other truck.

Yeah, I remember you had some rear-end issues. Better luck with the '06!
