Where to get an AAL?

I think I'm going to need an add a leaf for my truck. I leveled the front with a 2" AS and the rear is 1/2" lower than the front. I want the rear to sit just a bit higher, and I thought the AS was going to do that for me. Can anyone lead me in the right direction?

thanks I need one to lift my rear as well. after reading the reviews and the height it gives my truck will be a true 8.5 lift around. I can't wait to install it.

I read the generic ones aren't as good as the ones that are vehicle specific.

Also, do the rear shocks have to be replaced? I know the skyjacker AAL picks up the back 1 1/2". Just a thought.

Comes with U bolts.... And everything else you need. You do not need new shocks because the suspension travel is not any greater (ie you will not bottom out the stock shocks.)

With our trucks you need oue that is made for them because our leaf springs have 2 centerpins in the leaf spring.

I highly reccomend the skyjacker kit from summit... it came fast had all parts needed and installed easily.

You will want a torque wrench and 2 large C clamps (5-6" works best) for installation.

HD, thanks a bunch. I am going with the skyjacker AAL. I'll post pics later on. BTW, how does it affect ride? I assume it makes things tighter, but with my truck being a 4x2 it's kind of soft back there anyway. Thanks again.

The ride is firmer in the rear than stock, but I thought it was soft back there to begin with. It's more noticable going over highway bumps that the firmness is noticable compared to stock where it seemed like a floaty sedan deville if you know what I mean. Feels more like a truck and now the AS up front is equalled out more and with a load I won't be sagging.

The install was a first for me. It went well after I figured it all out. I got some pretty good suggestions from the guys here and after I figured things out all is well!
