Too bad the world isn't full of professionals. .
You expect a tint shop to be run by professionals? I am sure that there are a select few tint shops that are run by people who are responsible, but I would be willing to bet that most are somewhat irresponsible.
Sorry to hear about your windows and your homelink. By the way, why didn't you just order the homelink visor. It is a very easy plug and play conversion.

Spoiled chits who know nothing about the truck they drive are in abundance around here, they're just sitting on products of Les Schwabb.
I had my front windows done by a local tint shop with 30% Lluminar. It's got a lifetime warranty, and I think because of the black interior, the tint looks a little darker than it really is. Three years later and it's still good to go, with just a few small imperfections at the top of the passenger's side window.

Onto the tint related issues, my windows roll up extremely slow thanks to the tint and squeal like a pig, any fix for this other than opening the door panel (maybe some window lubricant). Do not use WD40 anywhere near'em, I learned that the hard way. It took months to finally come off the glass.

Either way arguing about this on a forum won't change that. It'd be nice to have the money for a Range Rover.

Oil is PITA to take off glass! Maybe there is some way to open the stripping up on the inside so there is not so much friction..?
