There is no way to take the orange out of our FACTORY OEM headlight's side marker.
You'll have to buy an entire new headlight assembly. This is what the person did in the picture you see. You can buy those off ebay.
It's impossible to open the headlights that come on our trucks as they are bonded together by a glue that cannot be undone. The only way would be to cut through the black plastic on the back of the headlight and then try to find a way to reseal it with a water and pressure complete seal.
IE. Just find new ones on ebay that are already done.

What i remember reading was you have to:
1. Remove headlamp
2. Use skinny screwdriver to "un-pop" yellow reflector from inside the lamp assambly
3. Use skinny wire cutters to reach inside the hole break apart the reflector.
4. Shake out broken reflector pieces out of small hole..
I think this was how I remember reading it being done.

No you can't do this on our OEM headlights. You COULD on the aftermarket EBAY ones though.
The OEM ones have a sealant that will not loosen under heat or any substance. They are all sorts of permanent, unless you use a dremel with a cutting bit and cut open the entire headlights.
Using a screw driver and breaking that orange reflector and shaking out the pieces has to be the dumbest thing I've heard. Not knocking anyone here, just the idea of doing that.
Lets say you have an awesome stroke of luck and are able to do that without getting some of the plastic stuck or breaking the chrome or scratching it.
How are you going to get a clear corner reflector in there?
I've seen it without a clear or orange corner and it looks 1000X worse with no corner.
If you're going for clear corner headlights, just buy them off ebay for $140 and throw those in without having to take things apart.

Yeah, I wouldn't risk chipping out the OEM reflector either. If you want to get rid of them, get aftermarket with clear or black headlights from EBAY ... and be sure to put a nice bead of clear water-resistent silicone caulk around the whole assembly where the clear portion meets the black housing to minimize any (potential) condensation issues.
