Talking The true duals are on! FLO-PRO

2.25 piping. exiting with 3.5" slash tips.

I wanted the rolled slash tips but they talked me out of them. Told me that they have had problems with those tips rusting out really quick. He said that the rolled lip on them collects moisture. hmm

FLO PRO di/do model mx336 is the muffler I used. www.FLOPRO.com

I'm real pleased. Doesn't seem to have lost any power. Mid-Range the throttle is a hell of alot more sensitive. hehe.

All in all I would definately reccomend this set-up.

ahhh dang. Well it's been pouring ALLLL day today. My one day old chrome tips looks purty ugly after driving in the rain. hehe.

Possibly tommorow if I get off early enough I'll give the truck a wash and snag some pics.

I can attempt to get a sound clip. I have to kinda "borrow" my roomates camera as he is out of town.

After one day of driving there has been a pretty big difference in sound as the muffler breaks in.

If you go onto their website, do NOT listen to the other trucks. . you'll just get depressed. Trust me.

thanks texxx..I must say you are the one that got me going on FLO-PRO I'm a definate believer. I got compliments from 3 different guys at the muffler shop who were waiting to get duals put on. It's definately a smooth sound. Not alot of gargling and nasty noise.

lol. I know what your saying thump. However, i'm really pleased with how my truck sounds. Ford has done a great job keeping the cab quiet. When you step outside the exhaust is much more louder than you think being inside. It's unique and doesn't sound like a large boat. Which what every chevy sounds like with an exhaust.

Also, Soon i'll be able to compare exact set-up but with a maggie di/do. A friend got that done last week on his 5.4. I just haven't had a chance to go over his house and listen.

another thing I have noticed with true duals. The idle and soft acceleration has alot deeper tone than all previous si/do set-ups I have had.

I can get them higher quality if you want. I reduced them so you don't have to wait forever.

Here is a clip outside of the truck.

dude, sent you a PM, but I guess I can ask here too.

I can't tell from their website if the mx336 has an x-pipe builtin. It doesn't look like it from the pic they have. It looks like the pipes only extend a little bit into the muffler. Plus the pipes are louvered....is that true on the mx336? I emailed flopro but haven't gotten anything back yet.
