My factory Autolock locks all my doors when I put it in drive, and my Code Alarm 550 unlocks all 4 doors when I turn off the ignition. The CA550 can also be programmed to lock all 4 doors when I turn on the ignition but I prefer the Ford method of locking them once in Drive and underway..

I was going to post about this too. I love the autolock feature, but HATE when I turn the truck off that only the front doors unlock, and the rear passengers are stuck until I unlock. I've gotten used to it, but its still obnoxious as I don't always remember.

I'd hate to have to get an aftermarket alarm to solve this.

Tell me about it.

HMM, I wonder if I gave Ford a call, just to make sure they a feature like that?

I did read the owners manual on how to disable/enable the locking and unlocking of the doors.
I couldn't find however(if F-150's are equiped) an unlocking feature when you put the truck into park.
I don't mind the auto locking, but I always forget to unlock them.

Thanks

There is no auto-unlock feature when you turn your key off and put it in park. The only way to keep the doors unlocked is just to turn off autolock so they never lock in the first place. I did this because I don't know how many times I have gotten out, went inside, came back out and needed to get something out of the passenger side real quick, only to remember it is still locked as I'm pulling the handle........

If you have keyless entry but no keypad on the door, then you have a lock hole on the passenger side. If you got a keypad then you get no passenger door keyhole. I have a stock passenger door handle with a keyhole in it if anyone wants it. I was just gonna trash it but it looks like some people want that keyhole over there......
