undercoating?

did you guys undercoat your trucks apon purchace? i live in the midwest and was wondering if i should have done this. does it help alot with salt and mud? some cars i have seen with undercoating look like trash and i want to prevent this. ive got 6000 miles on and the dealer will still coat the truck if i want. please put your imput in! i dont want a rusty frame in seveal years.

My dealer undercoated my truck for free, I think it looks beter coated, blacks out the fender well and can't hurt as far as rust protection and added sound deadening....

If it's done right, it can help. If it's not, I think it can do more harm than good.

I had the dealer do mine also, while I did not get it for free (wish I did) I still think it was worth the money spent on it.

never had good luck with under coating. if you get any moisture under it you will never know until you start see it peel off.
leave it the way it is

Nope didnt have it done.

Refused that, the paint coatings, the lowjack, and every other option they threw at me.
