I just added these to mine. I didn't drill the holes in the body only inside the fender lips. They went on pretty good that way. There is a guy in Texas that sells them on e-bay and goes by loanstarford. The dealer wanted $400 unpainted and install myself.
Used FX4 Flairs for tmplates
I installed the Lariat flairs on my XLT last weekend. Last year I purchased
a set of black FX4 flairs real cheap off ebay and have been waiting for Lariat
flairs. I also purchased mine from loanstarford as mentioned above. Since I work in a tool shop, I took one of the clips that is used to hold the flair on
and installed a small drill bushing in it and then at each location on the FX4 flairs I drilled a small hole all the way thru. Then I put blue painters tape on the fenders and after clamping the FX4 flairs in place, I used a small drill to
"spot" drill all the locations. Then I removed the FX4 flairs, drilled the holes,
painted the raw edges of the drilled holes and installed the Lariat flairs.
They fit perfectly. The first one was the scariest. Drilling those holes into
perfectly good sheet metal.
