40 series Flowmaster install

For those of you guys that installed a 40 series flowmaster SISO using the stock exhaust, what orientation muffler did you have to use (ie. center in/ offset out, offset in/ offset out)? Thanks guys.

I just let the muffler shop put mine on, I am not positive, but almost sure it was a center in. The muffler is about 18" long.

I have had it on about a year now. You can hear it very well under acceleration. Driving down the highway at steady speed, you can just barely hear it. Just enough to know it is there. I love the sound, it is like music to me.

eh.....ok....if I do the exhaust I want the cab to stay quiet and I don't think that is going to be realistic.

If you have the music on, you don't hear the exhaust. I sometimes turn the music off just to listen to the rumble.

Get a Magnaflow. I can't even tell mine's there unless I step on it.

How much do muffler shops usually charge to put on an exhaust system?

Thanks

Mine was $225 for muffler, pipes and two 3" tips, 18" long. Installed plus tax.
