After all the hard work posting...my wheels are being sent
Well, after exhausting everyone with questions on backspacing, offset, size, etc...I have finalized the wheel purchase and finally will be having them shipped.
To make a long story short, I have searched for a perfect wheel/tire combo that would work with my truck and found some things that worked and some that didnt and put the information I gathered together and made a custom wheel.
Since Im not sure how long it will be until I lift my truck with the Rancho 4" lift, I wanted a wheel that would look good with my leveling kit and can be used in the future with the Rancho kit.
Heres what I got:
20x8.5 KMC XD775 Rockstar (Black)
+10 Offset = 5.1" Backspacing
Toyo MT 33x12.50
The wheels ordered were for another truck, so I had a machine shop custom drill the holes for our trucks (6x135). The reason I did this is because 1) they are on back order and are somewhere in the Pacific Ocean with no delivery date set 2) the wheels I had custom fit were available already 3) the ones made for our truck have a +35 Offset (6.1" backspacing - too much for a 8.5 width rim) and 4) I think the stance on this will be perfect...slightly sticking out, but not too much since its only a 8.5 width wheel with the backspacing I get on this custom rim.
Once it comes in, you can be sure I willl post some pics up. Talk about custom wheels...after searching and searching, I stayed with the rim I wanted most...just had to get creative to make them work. If you guys take a look at ALLKOAS's truck...that thing is sweet and the wheel I got are those exact ones...I just wanted them to stick out a bit. Since the backspacing was 6.1", it wasnt wide enough for me, so I had to get a set with a 5.1" backspacing and custom drill the holes. I hope it works out...
IF ANYONE HAS PICS WITH 20" WHEELS WITH A 5" BACKSPACING, POST IT UP...I WANT TO SEE THE STANCE.
