Exclamation which one???? need help!!

so i need to be deciding on my tires soon....since next week if this deal works out ill be buying my lift kit....and then the rest of my parts....

so its either nitto mud grapplers 38X15.5R18 or 37X13.5R17 or R18 i say 37's because they are less wide (less or no rubbing) im leaning alot towards the 37" tire because i know it wont rub nearly as much as the 15.5 and 14.5 at 38 and 38.5 (read last tire specs)

super swamper trxus A/t STS 38X15.5 R18

OR (what im leaning more towards kinda) Super swamper trxus M/T 38.5X14.5R17 i like this tire....but i dont know how much rubbing will come from them being 38.5 and 14.5 wide......what do yall think? i can get a pretty good deal on 4 of them. but do you think the tire is too big??

I'm not sure about a 38x15.50 with 9 inches of lift on a new F-150. Does anyone here have that combo?

ummmm im not sure....no-one i know on these forums....ive seen some trucks from N-Fab tat have 38X15.5 mud grapplers.....but i dont know how much they rub and what not.....im really trying to stay 14.5 wide...any tires that are 13.5 wide and 38s?? doubt it....i think that would actually look odd.....hmmm...

so im thinking its either a 37 mud grapp....or my 38.5X14.5

If you include a set of coilovers and crank them up at least 1.5-2" you should be set with no rubbing, but you never know until you try. It will really depend on the backspacing of your rims that you choose. As far as 17" rims go, make sure they will fit our truck, some don't. As far as tire brands go, both the trxus tires, MT and AT, are made of a very soft compound that wears quickly, especially on heavy vehicles like ours. Chew on that for awhile and let us know what you decide!

k well....that was a great help.....now what happens when i crank the coilovers up....how does that affect the actual coilover....is that bad for them??? and when i go off roading and they start compressing how is that going to affect them???

yeah the rims im looking at are 4 1/2 backspacing....and they fit our trucks im pretty sure but of course ill find that out....

and now....im thinking im goin with the mud grapplers....

anyone know of some other 38 tires that are 14.5 wide?
