Toke the Plunge...Just purchase the Edge Evo,Have a few Q's..

Ok I finally purchased the Edge today, after reading lots of threads i have a question about updates. When I first get the edge do i update it before i installed it?, or do i update after installing it? Basicly asking what should i do first before i actually install the edge??

Thanks

I just ordered mine today too..... Any other inputs on updating?? I am just going to run level 2.....General hints for the newbie edge user would be great.... after readin 8 million threads on edge tuners, its hard to know right from wrong.....gotta adjust for 4.56 gears and 33' tires, help on that or tips on that would be helpful as well....

I would also like yo know some of the answers to these questions. And If your running an intake with your edge, which one is it. Leaning towards Airaid, but still undecided.

Thanks,

JOHN

A 05 said you can go ahead and update it as soon as possible. As far as the intake question, I just bump up the WOT fuel setting a bit - I am running a K&N setup. To change the gears it is as simple as just plugging your number in on the gear ratio setting. In regards to the larger tires, best thing is to use the roll method of measuring to get the exact measurement in millimeters.

Good luck with your new tuners, its the best mod going

PS - That's TOOK, not TOKE
