Finally Lifted on 37" Mud Grapplers (PICS)
37x13.5xR20 Nitto Mud Grapplers saddled on a set of Mazzi Hulk's. I've always been against the "Bling" crap but look at me now. I dropped a small locking lug nut on my rim and scratched it pretty good, no tears.
Let me do a rundown of a series of events that caused my misfortune. I order from some large SoCal tire store but was sort of uninformed about the backspacing for some knockoff Mazzi's I ordered, so I tried to cancel and they gave me hell. "Why would you wanna do that?" "We got you a special deal, we can't cancel that." Eventually I dropped that order to the representatives extreme displeasure (sighed as he hung up the phone). I order the tires/wheels from discount tire direct, they come but wrong lug pattern (chevy 6 lug). Took over a month to take care of and ended up getting $300 in cash refund for my trouble. Lifted truck with series of problems using hand tools, took many hours and the floor jack was losing ball bearings. I flipped and was led to believe they were cv bearings from my truck causing a huge vibration for a good minute until proper photos were displayed putting that to rest. Installed front driveshaft, pretty difficult to know which way it went in, so it was a 50/50 chance...well luck doesn't run through my vein's so 99/1 chance of it going in wrong. It went in wrong, caused a hell of a vibration. Then my 4x4 solenoid fuse kept popping (still does, can't figure it out, must be grounding itself somewhere) and engages my front driveshaft while in 2wd. Then, 2 bolts dropped out of the caliper (must've forgot to torque them) so once again I was riding on luck (yipee). Heading to America's Tire Co in Modesto, only a city away my brake caliper mount bolt fell off as well, brake caliper grinded the hell out of my rotor. I had to call a friend to bring my tools and fixed it while the Tire Co mounted the correct rims. Last night, truck was egged while driving about 50mph. And now my fender is ripping off from the rubbing. Did I forget anything? Anyways, I'm pretty pleased with the way things turned out, here are the pics.

If you guys can help me out with cranking my coilovers, let me know. The DirtLogic 2.5's threads are spinning with the collar. The collar is supposed to slide up and down the threads to adjust height. Anyway to do this without a spring compressor. If my memory serves me right, the directions said nothing about having to use a compressor but I lost those directions a while ago.
Enjoy.
The truck looks fannnnnnnntastic man. bling bling. I've been following your status for the last few weeks, great to see it's just about done with. Check the Fabtech website, I believe they have only directions in PDF format.

Looks great man, all I can say is when it is all over and done, when everything is right and working right you can look in the mirror and say I did that and it was all worth it. Good job man.
It's about damn time.
Looks great though. Now all you need is an add-a-leaf. Looks like one good bump in the back and that tires eating the bed. Let's see what can go wrong there.
How's the ride? Any rubbing?
